How often should i use the face mask?
We recommend using your mask 1–2 times per week. If your skin is particularly dry or sensitive, once a week is often enough. Don't forget to rehydrate your skin afterwards with your favourite serums and moisturizers!
Why is the face mask powdered?
Our dried herbal face masks contain nothing but pure herbs, mineral-rich clays, and essential oils, so you're getting the full strength of every botanical without unnecessary fillers or preservatives.
Simply mix a fresh batch with water, a hydrosol, honey, yogurt, or your favourite facial oil, allowing you to personalize each application to suit your skin's needs that day.
Can I mix my mask with something other than water?
Absolutely! Another benefit of powdered masks is how versatile they are and how easily they can be customized to your own preferences. The masks can be mixed with distilled water, hydrosols, honey, aloe vera juice and so much more. Our personal favourite mix-in is a chamomile or lavender hydrosol.
Should I let the mask dry completely?
It really comes down to personal preference but we do recommend removing the mask while it is still slightly damp. Allowing clay masks to dry completely can leave the skin feeling tight and dry, especially if you have dry or sensitive skin.
Are the face masks suitable for sensitive skin?
Our masks are made with gentle, natural ingredients, but every person's skin is unique. We recommend performing a patch test before first use, especially if you have sensitive skin or known allergies to plants or essential oils.
For dry and sensitivie skin, we recommend using the mask no more than once a week and pairing it with a hydrating mix-in such as aloe vera juice or honey. Don't forget to moisturize afterwards!
