Body Serum

Organic sunflower oil is one of our favourite botanical oils for daily body care. It's lightweight, fast-absorbing, and naturally rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E, helping to support the skin's natural moisture barrier without leaving a greasy finish. Sunflower oil is also non-comedogenic, meaning it's safe and suitable for all skin types!

It's also a more sustainable choice than many exotic oils, such as avocado oil. Sunflowers are widely grown in North America, require fewer resources to produce, and have a significantly lower transportation footprint than oils that must be imported from tropical climates. We believe beautiful skincare should be as thoughtful for the planet as it is for your skin.

Every scent was created with purpose beyond simply smelling good. Rather than focusing on the scent alone, we chose essential oils that are traditionally valued for their skin-supportive properties as well as their beautiful, supportive aromas.

Each blend begins with a base of frankincense, prized for its ability to support healthy-looking skin. From there, we paired botanicals that complement one another in their aroma and their benefits for the skin!

The result is a collection of scents that not only smell beautiful, but are also incredibly beneficial for your skin.

Our Body Serum is best thought of as a nourishing body oil with a slightly richer, thicker texture. Unlike a traditional lotion that absorbs into the skin and disappears almost instantly, this body serum takes a little time to absorb, and that's exactly what makes it so effective.

For best results, apply a few pumps to damp skin immediately after bathing or showering. The water left on your skin helps the botanical oils spread more easily and locks in lasting hydration. Take your time and massage the serum into the body, allowing it to become a moment to slow down and part of your daily self-care ritual.

You may notice a soft, silky finish for a while after application. This gives the botanical oils time to nourish and condition your skin before fully absorbing, leaving it feeling deeply moisturized, supple, and nourished

A little goes a long way, so start with a small amount and add more as needed!

In some bottles, you may notice the appearance of small beads or tiny, soft granules. Don't worry, this is actually a sign that you're using a product made with real, unrefined plant materials.

We use organic, unrefined plant butters and waxes that naturally contain a variety of fatty acids. As temperatures change during shipping or storage, these fatty acids can occasionally crystallize, creating small beads within the serum. This is a completely natural occurrence and does not affect the quality, safety, or performance of the product at all. Simply warm the serum between your hands or massage it directly onto your skin, and the beads will quickly melt away.

Because we choose to formulate with minimally processed botanical ingredients rather than synthetic ingredients, slight variations in texture are to be expected! We personally like it better this way, as it means that the product is truly, undeniably natural.
